Baby & Rock 05-189-190

Profile

Rock and Baby are 12 year old littermates and are truly Golden sweethearts. The boys are settling in nicely in their new foster home. They are housebroken and well behaved. Rock and Baby are senior gentlemen and are adapting to country life on the farm. Baby barks at the cows. I think he wants these big "doggies" to come over and say "Hi". The boys do well with other dogs and cats. We are getting to know each other so watch for further updates for this wonderful pair of dogs.

Hi Cindy,

My trip there and back went great! Weather held out for us!! Lu and Ron are very nice people. She sure loves those guys. We just sat on the floor and watched TV and played with their toes that night. We also took a Xmas picture.

Wednesday I got snowed in so got to play with them all day. Even today they seem a little lost, and they stick to me like Velcro. I thought they might take a little longer to get comfortable with the new surroundings but last night Babe hopped up on the couch and curled up and watched TV. They are so easy going, not a single problem. Both love the snow, they like to roll and bury the nose in all the snow piles. Babe was searching for squirrels and bunnies. He saw one right at the entry door. Rock loves his toes played with.

Thanks for your Help! Hope you might get to see them some day!

Rock and Babe are adjusting well to foster care. They had a good visit with the vet this week. The boys are heartworm negative and their blood work came back good. Babe is currently being treated for ear infections.

Babe loves to interact with the cats. One of our cats thinks he is a dog so the cat spends lots of time with his new friend Babe. Babe found it puzzling at first, since cats are supposed to run and he is supposed to chase.

Rock loves to play with toys and has discovered the joy of bisquit/liverwurst filled kongs.

Rock and Babe have arthritis and we are working on various approaches to treat the arthritis. These are wonderful, well mannered dogs who are good with other dogs and cats. They are a joy to foster.

Here are some new pictures. Babe is the redder of the two dogs and Rock has the curly coat with a lighter color. Fortunately for me, both dogs respond to either name!
