Cooper 06-05-392

Profile

10/21/06: Cooper spent the night on his lay-over to a better life. He is a sweetheart. Got along great with the resident dogs--no issues, no peeing in the house, no fights, no resource guarding, no problems at all! Rides great in the car, knows sit and down, and is very smart. Sue is one lucky foster, and his forever home is waiting for him. He just needs a serious diet and exercise! I'm sure he is having a great time at PetCo!

Hey, hey, this is Super Dooper Cooper checking in again. Boy, what a weekend! We got another foster in our house on Friday, and boy can he be a pest! He is such a puppy! Oh, well, I know that soon I will find my forever family and be the center of attention again. I'm sending a couple of new pictures to remind you how cute I am. I'm even willing to share my couch with Bosco and Cassie, the yellow lab. Come on, how much cuter could I be? Let placementatragom [dot] org know that I'm the one for you. Let's start our wonderful life together.

Cooper was a very well behaved guy during the Thanksgiving holiday. He has been such a sweet guy since we got him as a foster. He loves to be outside in the front yard running and playing with the other dogs. He loves to play fetch, but he has heavy competition for retrieving the tennis balls. Once in awhile he gets lucky and gets to the ball before the other dogs. Tonight he was playing tug with our Chocolate Lab, Hercules, and was being dragged across the living room floor on his back by the rope bone. It was so funny!

Cooper is well adjusted and ready to go to his forever home. He would probably be happiest in a home with another dog to play with. Playing is very high on Cooper's list of priorities! Cooper is still losing weight, but we haven't been back to the vet to see how much weight he has lost. We have him on Wobenzym N for the inflamation in his back right foot and he has not limped since we started him on it. I have several of my own dogs on it and it has worked well on each of them. I'm sure that Cooper would be able to take regular walks with any family that adopts him. If you are interested in meeting this sweet guy, please email placementatragom [dot] org. Cooper is just waiting for that perfect family to make him part of their family. Are you the one?
