6/28/06: We picked up Ebony last night and what a cutie he is! He looks like a little bear cub. At first he would not walk on a leash, but after a walk with the big dogs he likes to and is a pro at it. We had no accidents in the house - he has gotten up and wanted out where he did his duties. He even knows how to sit on command. At the vet today he weighed in at 20.8 lbs. He is very healthy except for a slight yeast infection in his right ear and some congestion in his chest, and was given some meds for this and ear cleaner. I'll let Ebony tell you the rest....

Right now I am sound asleep. I got everyone up at 4:45am and was up for the day - it must have been the good sleep I got sleeping with my foster Mom & Dad in bed. I started out in my crate but they felt sorry for me and took me out - who was I to say no?? I heard my foster Mom say that I was one of the smartest and lovable pups she has ever had. My best friend is their great niece - she is 11 years old and her name is Riley. I really like her - she plays with me and teaches me not to chew or bite with my little sharp teeth. I am about 3.5 months old and I am learning things fast. I would like to find my forever home soon. My Mom says I won't last long - someone will want me because I'm so cute!

Ebony has been with us for a week now and he is getting along well with his sisters. Eb & Ab like to run and play in the back yard. We have been calling them Me & Mini Me - they look alike except for their size. Eb has not had any accidents in the house and will go to the door when he needs to go out. He can walk up and down a flight of steps and is not hesitant. He is not scared of anything; fireworks, loud cars, or even other dogs. He loves to go on long walks with his sister Ab and loves everyone we meet. He is a little lazy though - he lays down & puts his bowl in between his feet and eats, and he knows what the word treat means. After a week I can still say that he is the perfect pup. P.S. We have found that he loves to ride in the car - he gets on the seat with his sister and sleeps and you don't even know they are with you.
