Updates

It is with a broken heart that I write Prince's last update. With many tears shed, we had to help Prince cross over to the Bridge on the 20th of August. He woke up feeling a little out of sorts, but still snitching socks off my feet and eating/drinking.

It was later in the day that he started stumbling. First thought was Vestibular and we took him to the ER Vet right away. After running blood work, along with an ultrasound and neurological testing, the Vet thought Prince had a brain tumor.

The ultrasound did show a tumor on and near the spleen. Prognosis was not good and we had to make the painful decision to help him to the Bridge. We were heartbroken, as he hid his "not feeling up to par" from us, as so many dogs can and will do.

Prince was a wonderful boy!! He had so much love to give and brought us and many others great joy. The tough life he had prior to RAGOM disappeared the moment he entered RAGOM. Prince wanted and needed a very simple life, which RAGOM provided for him.

Four years is a long time for a dog to be in a rescue, but RAGOM's dedication to keeping Prince safe, secure and loved with a foster family who loved him - it shows the true dedication RAGOM provides to all dogs that pass through their rescue.

We are forever grateful that RAGOM picked us to be Prince's Mom and Dad. He will forever be our "Poo or Momma's Boy". Prince will be adopted by us Posthumously.

Recently Deceased: Prince recently passed away and will soon be listed on the Memorials page.
