Carl is a sweet, young dog who lives life with gusto. He has a nice mix of energetic at times and chill at others.

He is affectionate to people and previously lived with young children (baby to age 10). He is equally loving to all of the teenagers and adults in his foster family.

He is healthy, housebroken, good in his crate if needed, and rides nicely in the car. Carl has had some basic obedience training and knows "sit," "shake," and "down."

At his foster home, he is leashed for walks and potty breaks. He does pull at times, but a harness works well with him.

Due to his history, a home with a tall fence or perhaps iron rails that are not scaleable would probably be best, or a home that plans to walk him or run with him and keep him on a leash at all times.

Due to his prey drive, an invisible fence would probably not be good for him.

Carl will be loyal and loving companion for some lucky family.
