New care givers, new resident dogs, new house, new yard and new routines are the challenges facing foster dogs. Just as no two people are the same this is also true for dogs. Some will adjust easily, others take time. Ruby falls into the latter category. She was very frightful and shut down upon arrival. She has done well with this adjustment but progress is slow.
She is house broken and is well mannered. Gaining her trust is the biggest challenge with her. Judging by the increasing tail wagging it appears we are getting there. She loves going outside with my dogs and has started to become occasionally playful.
