Welcome, Doogie! He is an adorable 8-month-old Golden Retriever mix. His mom was said to be a Golden Retriever/Lab and his dad was thought to be an Aussie/Heeler/Lab mix. Regardless of his DNA, he is gorgeous!

Doggie was surrendered by a family who didn't have the time to train him. So he has lots to learn! He is full of energy and loves to play. He knows "sit" and is learning "down," "look," and "touch" the target hand. He's very smart and quick to learn.

Doogie loves other dogs. He has met close to a dozen and loved them all. He is a big player—but sometimes doesn't play as others might like. He was quite fixated on some of the females he met until he was neutered.

He has also learned to quit that when asked—either by the offended female or by his foster mom. He is great in his crate when I am away or when he needs some time to chill. He sleeps in it all night without a peep. 

Doogie is ready to meet his new family. He needs an active family who will help him release some of his puppy energy and also continue his manners training. We all love him—especially my resident boy, Tannin. He's a very sweet, snuggly boy! Oh, yeah—check out his underbite!
