Elsa came to RAGOM from one of the recent auctions during the polar vortex. She is lighter in color and has a slight cowlick on her forehead, which may eventually turn into a longer curl.
Like most puppies, Elsa is affectionate and playful. She enjoys the snow and loves to zoom through the snow paths we’ve created due to the depth of the accumulated snow.
While Elsa co-exists peacefully with the two resident dogs in her foster home, we would like her to socialize and bond more with people without feeling overwhelmed, so we are requiring that she be an only dog at this time.
Elsa is smart and learns quickly. She does have one funny habit: she barks incessantly at her reflection in the sliding glass door when the evening light allows her to see herself.
It was suspected that Elsa was born with a reverse scissor bite, but we have been through two exams, and it’s hardly been detected. It won’t be until her adult teeth are in that we can get a better assessment.
Elsa will be ready for adoption in a few weeks' time. She has been fighting a case of giardia, and once she overcomes that, she’ll be spayed and ready to move to her forever home.
