Kia came to RAGOM with the help of our rescue partners in Turkey. She was very ill when first rescued, but she received excellent care before her journey to the United States. Kia can live with other dogs and children older than five. Although she loves her humans, she will bolt if given a chance and requires a physical fence to keep her safe.

Kia arrived from Turkey the end of April. She is a very petite Golden weighing in at 45 pounds.

Kia had been very sick while in Turkey and received wonderful medical care. At her vet visit when she arrived in the United States she was checked out as a healthy girl!

She gets along well with other dogs. She also does well with children, preferably at least 5 years old due to her size and energy. She requires a physical fence, because she's a runner and will bolt if given the chance.

She thoroughly enjoys her daily walks, playing fetch, and going on adventures with her foster family.
