Sweet guy Tug has a new family to celebrate! Tug was adopted two weeks ago by a young couple and their dog Micky, a beautiful Golden/Setter mix. Tug is fitting right in and gets along well with Micky, running and playing, and expending all that puppy energy! There is no sign of his previous injuries. He has healed completely and will enjoy all the fun in store for him. He is getting plenty of love and snuggles and likes to sleep on the bed! Tug is a wonderful addition to this terrific family!

Tug is enjoying the Golden life, while being the sweet puppy he is. He is scheduled next week for his neutering which will coincide with the last week or so of his restricted activity for his hip and toe. He is anxious for the day he can run and play at full strength. He is fully of puppy energy and is treat motivated, so we have been working on “off” and stays.

We went for a short walk today and met a dog on the way and he did great. He loves toys and being in the yard. Bunnies are of particular interest and he will bark at them through the window. He crates up great at night and rides in the car like a pro. He is a nice greeter, and likes people. This little sweetheart will be so happy in a family setting.

Tug is a very handsome 6-month-old Golden Retriever, looking to rejoin a family. Tug’s recent vet check went well: he is a healthy 42 lb. boy recovering from a broken toe and pelvis. He is on restricted activity for another two weeks so his bones can mend, although one would not know he has broken bones as he gets around without issue.

Tug is a typical playful puppy and yet has nice manners—come, sit, stay, off—and we are told he walks nicely on a leash. Tug would be terrific with a family as he loves people and is an energetic, affectionate pup.
