Rocky has found his forever home! He is an only dog in a quiet house with two adults who are home a lot. Since his storm anxiety is worse when he’s alone we thought it would be good for him to live with people who are retired or work from home, or both in this case!
He still has some storm anxiety, but so far hasn’t hurt himself or done any damage in the house. He loves to go on boat rides and meet new people. His new mom and dad are totally in love with him and can’t imagine their life without him.

Rocky came to RAGOM because his family had some changes going on and a lot of extra work hours, and they felt that he needed someone around more often. He also had some pretty good storm anxiety, which they felt was worse when he was alone.
Rocky is a very happy, typical Golden. He appears to have vision issues, possibly with both eyes. His surrendering owner thought that he had an incident with a toddler when he was young and had compromised his vision in one eye.
After taking him to a specialist, we have found out that he actually has cataracts in both eyes, with the right eye having no vision at all and the left eye about 15 – 20%. Other than that, he is in great health and is a super happy dog!
