Spencer was surrendered to RAGOM when his owners were unable to provide him with the attention he deserves. Spencer is a healthy, active young dog. Because of his size and high energy, any children in his home should be age 8+. Spencer can live with other dogs, but prefers females and non-dominant males. A physical fence is optional as along as Spencer has plenty of on-leash exercise. Spencer is an all-around good dog who is looking for an active family to help him continue to learn and grow.

Hello—

May was a big month for Spencer: we celebrated his six-month adoption anniversary, and his 2nd birthday!

We are thankful everyday for this gentle, smart, and sweet boy, and that we get to be his family. In his six months with us, he has settled into his new home flawlessly and completed obedience school, and is adored by all the neighbors.  He brings so much joy to our days and we love this good boy so much!

Thank you RAGOM for giving us our best friend.

Love, Ross, Kendra, and Spencer

Spencer went to his forever home on November 10. Spencer’s new owners are very excited to make him a part of their daily life. He will have a large fenced-in yard to play in and being the “only child” of the family, he will be the center of attention in his new home.

Spencer fell in love with his new owners the first time he met them and I think the feeling is mutual!

Welcome to RAGOM Spencer! Spencer is a 1½-year-old Goldendoodle. This well-loved pup is coming to RAGOM because his owners wanted him to be placed with a family that could spend more time with him.

Spencer loves everyone he meets, children and adults. Because of his size and energy level, children in his home should be at least 8 years old. He gets along well with my female resident dog but would do best in a home with a non-dominant male. He would need to be cat tested. A physical fence is optional.

Spencer weighs in at 68.3 lbs. He is up to date on his vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm, and his fecal test came back negative. He is also up to date on his flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

He went to the groomers for a spa day and did great! Because he is a Goldendoodle, he will need to be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks and brushed weekly. He did get car sick on the ride to the vet, but he could have been nervous. He is unable to jump in the back of my jeep; he has to be lifted in and out. Once he is in my Jeep he does great. He lays down and doesn’t make a sound.

Spencer came from a loving family and responds to basic commands and knows his name. He sits when putting his leash on without being asked. He is crated when no one is home with no fuss. At night he sleeps on the floor next to my bed but hops up on the bed in the middle of the night. He respects baby gates.

Spencer is still a puppy and will grab a shoe or sock if left out and run around with it, but not chew it up. He likes to empty all the toys out of the toybox but loves tennis balls the most. He will play by himself and leap on the balls.

He loves to watch squirrels and deer in my back yard, but he doesn’t bark at them. He doesn’t beg for people food or counter surf. He loves going on walks and does not pull.
