Michelle—now called Meisha—has found her forever home. She will be living in Minnesota with two loving parents as a single child. She will be so excited to go hiking in the snow and have fun summer weekends at a cabin.
Meisha is a very loving, active 1-year-old who needed a family that understood her active personality and it was a perfect match. I am happy for this family and one of our international rescue pups.

Welcome Michelle to the U.S. She is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever with very light blond fur and a white-tipped tail, chest, and feathering. Her fur though short is not clipped and has no or minimal undercoat. Grooming should be a breeze.
Her vet wellness exam was issue free and she has received all her vaccinations. She was spayed in Turkey.
Michelle’s personality could best be described as engaging, active, and loving. She is sweet and does seek attention and affection. She is a little rambunctious as all pups are at this age. She loves to be in your lap and receive as much attention as you wish to give.
She needs monitoring and guidance to learn appropriate manners when interacting with humans. She is learning “down” and “off,” and she sits nicely (I do not know the Turkish word). She learned this in her previous home.
Michelle is supervised when not in the kennel and sleeps in the kennel all night without a peep. She is accident free at this time. She does try and counter surf, and if garbage is in reach she will investigate what is in the bin.
Her foster home has three large-breed and two small-breed dogs, but no cats. She has merged into the pack with ease and loves playing endlessly with Bonnie, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle.
Michelle has abundant energy and will need lots of exercise and play as most puppies do. She is outside (now muddy with the snow recently) frequently and does run, play, and check every corner of the yard. It is fun to watch her examine anything and everything she has not yet experienced, as well as give it the sniff test.
