Our sweet Sarah just survived her first Minnesota winter. Here are things she experienced:
* Christmas tree - Sarah love things neat and tidy. If there is something small in her path, she gets anxious and will stop. I was so worried about the tree, but she did awesome. If she get anxious, I would tell our lab, Joy, to go get her. Joy would walk over and walk back and Sarah followed.
* January 5th Sarah turned 5!!! She loved all the treats and cuddles.
* Sarah LOVES snow! She galloped through the snow everytime she went outside. Her face was covered in snow each and everytime as she would face plant into the snow.
* Sarah and Joy are closer than ever. We love watching their bond grow stronger and stronger.
* Sarah is most happy when she is right next to her mom.

I wanted to share an update on Sarah, who we adopted in May. First of all, we love her so much! She is so sweet. We love seeing her do more and more dog things, everyday. This would include chasing her tail, playing with a ball, and nudging your hand to pet her.
We can see why another dog was required with the adoption of Sarah. She looks to Joy (the resident dog) for so many things. We took Sarah swimming, and she watched Joy closely. Then Sarah started moving her front leg in the motion Joy was. It was amazing to see. It took Sarah a few different times to get the hang of swimming, but she did.
Sarah saw Joy playing with a stick. She went over and grabbed if from Joy. And Joy, happily went and got her a different one.
Sarah is scared of thunderstorms. I wrap her in a blanket to make her feel more secure. Joy will lay by her to give her comfort as well. Having Joy has helped Sarah so much, she doesn’t get scared of thunderstorms in the middle of the night anymore.
Sarah got pretty scared on the 4th of July with the fireworks. We were on the lake, and just gotten out of the boat to feed them. A few minutes later, a few fireworks were off. Sarah got so scared. She ran under a picnic table and started to dig. We got her back into the boat and started driving around. This helped Sarah. Then Joy put her paw on Sarah. They stayed like this for about 20 minutes. Joy is such a comfort to Sarah.
The bond Joy and Sarah have keeps growing. I’m so proud of Joy, since she was only 18 months when we got Sarah. Joy is younger in age than Sarah, but older in life. Joy is an amazing big sister to Sarah.

Sarah came to me back in February, and after settling in she has been nothing but a joy to have in our home. She is loving, friendly and playful! I am really going to miss her.
She has found a very loving home that will give her everything she needs to live that Golden life. Congratulations to the D family.

Sarah is doing great! She is all healed up from her spay surgery.
She enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home. She is even getting our oldest dog to play with her. She enjoys tennis balls and bones. She is a pleasure to have around—she loves her people and her tail is always wagging!

Sarah continues to do well. She is very friendly and playful.
Sarah has not shown any signs of being pregnant, so she has an appointment to get spayed on March 17th. She is now marked as available for adoption and we will be looking for a family for her.
Sarah is a very easy girl to have around. She does need another dog in her forever home. She would like that dog to be younger and playful. The resident dogs that she is living with are getting up there in age and are not as playful as Sarah would like them to be.
Sarah is doing great with house training. She has never had an accident in the house. She does not give any signals that she needs to go outside, but I let her out on a schedule and that seems to be good for her.
She does sleep in a crate at night and will go in the crate when I am not at home. She likes to hang out with us in the evening and chew on a bone or play with a tennis ball.
Sarah is very treat motivated and is learning to sit when asked. She would benefit if her new family would take her to a training class. If you think you could give Sarah what she needs in her forever family, we would love to hear from you.

Sarah is doing great! She is a friendly, loving girl. For her first outing, we took her to RAGOM's 35th anniversary celebration. There were a lot of people at this event and Sarah did great with them.

Please join me in welcoming Sarah to the RAGOM family! Sarah comes to us from a commercial breeder. She has been with me for a week now and is a beautiful girl - very friendly with a sweet personality.
At this time Sarah will need a physical fence. She will need another medium to large dog in her home and no small children. Sarah really likes kids, but a very small one may be too much for her to live with.
Sarah came into our home loving the resident dogs, coming up to the humans for pets, taking treats from our hands and walking beautifully on a flat leash. Sarah sleeps quietly in a crate and keeps it clean and dry. She is very well adjusted for coming from a breeding background.
Sarah is a purebred Golden Retriever with a beautiful red colored coat, a little white on her paws and a white patch on her chest. She weighs 67 pounds.
She will be marked as "Unavailable" until we find out if she is pregnant. The auction book said that she was bred in January. We will know in a few weeks if she is pregnant. Once she is cleared, we will mark her as available for adoption.
