Chelsea (known as Cece in her foster home) came to RAGOM from a breeder, so her lack of socialization requires a confident, medium to large dog in her forever home to serve as her role model. Children should be age 8 or older. Chelsea/Cece is interested in cats but quickly learned to give them space. She does not require a fence, but she does need a plan for keeping her safe when outside. Her forever family must be dedicated to the socialization, training, and exercise needs of a puppy.

Our family was lucky that we were able to show Chelsea (now Juliet) what true puppy love is all about and what a great life she deserves. She is a very special puppy who adapted quickly to life outside the puppy mill. She learned to trust humans and when she was still a little unsure, she just looked up to the other dogs in the house for assurance.

She had the most fun when she was following the kids around because that's usually where all the action was. She is a very silly dog that snores and makes lots of funny noises. We know we found her the perfect forever home where she'll have a Golden Retriever brother and a few human grandkids to play with, too.

Chelsea (goes by Cece) is an extremely loving puppy. She was a little shy when she first came home with us, but she has gained a lot of confidence.

Because Cece came into RAGOM from a large commercial breeder, she missed out on early socialization that is vital for confidence in dogs. She loves the resident Goldens in our home, and she's very interested in everything they do! They are doing a good job teaching her appropriate social behavior for a puppy, and she is a very fast learner.

To help with her continued adjustment to being in a home and building confidence, Cece must have a home with a resident dog who she can continue to learn from and who can help with her confidence. Cece is a very playful dog, so she will also benefit from having a doggy playmate.

We have cats in the house as well, and while she is extremely interested in them, she's picked up the hint that they don't want to play so she mostly just watches them closely.

What Cece loves most is playing and snuggling with our children. She wants to be in the center of the action, and in our house that means she's with the kids. She follows them everywhere when they get home from school and cries until they play fetch or tug with her. However, very young children and their sudden movements would tend to scare her.

She will be a wonderful family dog. She is still a puppy though, so she does need reminders that hands aren't for chewing and neither are the clothes humans are wearing! She is crate trained and on her way to being potty trained. While she does not require a fence, she does need a plan for keeping her safe when outside.

We love this little girl so much. She has all the wonderful qualities everyone adores in Goldens.
