Sweetheart Pang Pang had her appointment at Northwest Animal Hospital on October 1st. The mass on her chest was removed and it was tested. The great news is it was benign and it was reported they got it all. Yay!

She also had x-rays on her spine, and both back legs. Luckily, she did not have a torn ACL and there was no need for surgery. Her x-rays did show she may have a partial torn left cruciate but not significant enough for any surgery. It could heal on its own or could get worse. This is the unknown. She may never need surgery. The vet said to keep her moving (fit & trim)

While waiting for her news of her biopsy, as well as healing from her incision, she met the man of her dreams while on a Cancer Walk and again at a Meet and Greet. This girl LOVES men...well, she loves everyone, but just seems to have an eye for men...as can't get close enough.  She also likes to be the boss around other dogs and doesn't like other dogs in her face or near when she eats or gets attention. That being said I knew it was a perfect match.

Today, October 31st was her official adoption day. She will get to be daddy's girl and not have to share his love with any other fur babies. She also has a large fenced-in yard to watch the squirrels and gets to hang out with her grandparents that already adore her. I must say she was pretty smitten with her grandma. I think she may already have her wrapped around her paw.

Have a happy ever after, Chessie!  Foster Mom loves you!

Pang Pang, aka "Peyton," arrived at my home on Friday, September 4th. You would have never known she came all the way from China or spent a few days in Chicago in quarantine.

She is the happiest and most loving golden girl you will meet. She just made herself at home right away. She found the toys, walked right outside and did all her potty business, and made herself comfortable on the dog beds.

Pang Pang had her first American vet appointment on September 12th. The examination found a cancer spot on her chest and potential arthritis or torn acl on her back leg. She has a follow up appointment on October 1st for x rays and possible surgery.

This beautiful girl is learning a lot since she has been in Minnesota. She is learning to sit before she eats, sit to take treats, come inside when called, and to take treats gently and not to bite Foster Mom's fingers. So far no missing fingers, but a sweet girl who's working so hard to do the right thing.

Peyton will be available to applications once I know more from her next appointment. This will help me to know what she needs in her forever home.
