Josie came to the United States and RAGOM from China, and she is quickly adopting to a new language and her foster family’s routines. Josie has grown fond of her foster sibling and can live with other dogs; she hasn’t been tested with cats. Because Josie is young and unaware of her size and strength, children should be at least 8 years old.

Yesterday afternoon, Josie met her prospective family and both groups were immediately in love. Josie knew that Steph and Steph would provide her with everything she could ever want. Their 14-year-old Dachshund was also enthusiastic about the process!

Josie is going to live her best life with her new parents who will love her (and her propensity for taking all of the toys out of the toy basket) and running around their huge backyard with all of the new sights and smells. We cannot wait to hear updates and know that all of them will be very happy.

Josie arrived in the United States from China in mid-October after a tumultuous process but she did not let the bureaucratic process dampen her sunny disposition!

After an initial quarantine, she took to our Minnesota fall like second nature. She ran through the leaves and through the snow, chased snowballs, met the neighborhood children, all the while constantly being enthusiastic about each and every new opportunity.

Despite potential language barriers, she immediately adopted to relatively normal customs (meal time, bathroom time, nap time, etc.) with zero issues. Josie was a joy to foster and take care of, and she will make any new family unbelievably happy.
