Hazel has found her forever home with two adults and a Beagle-Basset mix. She will have a large fenced yard and live just blocks from a small lake that is the perfect walk for her with lots to sniff. She will be living the Golden Life with a couple who are crazy about her and have wanted a Golden for many years.

Hazel is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever who RAGOM rescued from the streets of Beijing. During a recent vet visit, she was found to have ear infections in both ears, but they’ve been treated. She will require surgery on both eyes for entropion, a condition where a dog's corneas get irritated from excess skin or inverted eyelids.
Otherwise, she’s in good health and so happy to have good food, attention, and the great outdoors with a warm home to return to. Hazel has a little tooth on the bottom that protrudes just slightly from the others that give her the most adorable smile—and she has big smiles.
Because she was abandoned and had to fend for herself, she's always showing up in your face if you have food. This is something to work on.
She is a sweet 75-pound girl who enjoys her walks and loves to sniff everything. When she has people around, you’ll find her laying in her bed, the den, or outside on the grass. A fenced-in yard would give her the security of feeling safe and protected. Hazel has not been off leash and no dog parks, please.
She is growing in her playfulness and trust, but still requires a safe place to experience this. She has been through too much to deal with an invisible fence. A large fenced-in yard is perfect.
Hazel likes to be near people. She sleeps in a large metal pen at night with lots of room and the door is open during the day. She loves it and will often go in on her own to relax, and we close it at night.
Hazel is a marvelous Golden who would make a wonderful addition to the right family. And she is a great walker. No pulling, except when she wants to smell, and that’s just being a dog. A really wonderful dog.
