Birdie is a wonderful, very high energy girl. We knew when she arrived that she would be adopted as soon as she became available. As soon as she completely recovered from her spay procedure, she found a great home!
She’ll be living as part of a family with two parents, two other dogs, and a great yard. As soon as the three pups got together, the playtime commenced and was hard to stop!
Her older sibling will continue showing Birdie around all the cool stuff to explore in the yard. Her middle-sister is half her size, but just as playful as she is, and the three energizer pups will enjoy every minute of playtime.
All three dogs showed almost instant affection and enjoyment of all the rough-housing that takes place. They readily share sleeping mats and respect each other’s food and toys.
Birdie will now be called Annie and the transition to her new name has begun. She scares easily, and when she thinks she’s in trouble, needs some extra attention to reassure her that things will be OK. As she settles in and understands that she’s now living the golden life, she’ll be an awesome part of her new family.

Birdie 20-144 is a 1 year old PB female Golden Retriever. Birdie is UTD on shots and preventives. She weighs approximately 40 lbs and is very healthy. Birdie is shy meeting new people, but does fine once she knows everything is okay and will lay down by you asking for pets.
She is also shy when meeting new dogs, will bark when they are a distance apart (while she's outside her home), but once up close she stops and wants to play. Plays with the neighbor's dog. Lives with a little dog and they are the best of friends.
Birdie has been around the neighbor's children ages 3 to 16 with no issues.
Birdie does not like the crate and will anxiously try to get out. She gets very nervous and cannot be kenneled for her safety. She does respect baby gates. Birdie will need a fenced yard. She loves to run, but most times will come when called. Birdie is a high energy pup and needs a fenced yard to run in and help expel her energy.
Birdie is just one of the sweetest dogs, so loving and perfect. Birdie would benefit being in a home with another dog to play with and a family that loves to play fetch. That's her favorite thing to do other than watching the birds, chasing squirrels and laying in the sunshine.
