Bruno found an amazing family with a mom and dad who love his quirky and sweet puppy behaviors and two little girls he can grow up with.

Bruno will now be known as Harvey as he starts this new chapter and in his near future are puppy and obedience classes, playtime with his new girls and lots of fetch with dad!

We will miss you terribly Bruno but feel so very lucky to have been able to help you along your path to your forever home!

Sweet Bruno Bear arrived to us tiny and very sick with Parvovirus. We immediately fell in love and were determined to do whatever we could to help him feel better.

The first weeks were rough as he was having trouble keeping food and water down. We would see glimpses of his puppy spirit in short playful bursts followed long naps on whoever’s lap was nearest. We are so grateful to have an amazing RAGOM vet nearby whose entire staff took an interest in helping Bruno get better.

Soon, we were seeing more and more puppy zoomies and naps were fewer and shorter! Bruno started to gain weight and feel better. Now we had a real puppy on our hands and we could start the search for his forever home.

At our house, Bruno loved our resident dog and followed our two kids, ages 9 and 12, everywhere. He had a tendency to play hard and then search for someone to pick him up so he could place his head on your shoulder and snuggle.

If he couldn’t find someone to pick him up he’d simply crash wherever he stood and we often found him sleeping in the most odd places and positions. He loved his walks and was learning all about the sights and sounds of a suburban neighborhood. As sad as we are to see him go, it is time for sweet little Bruno to move on to his forever home.
