Profile

Sophia’s family lovingly surrendered her to RAGOM after they decided she was not getting the attention she deserved. Because she has separation anxiety, she will need another confident dog as a mentor to help her overcome her issues. Children in the home should be at least 10 years old. Sophia can live with dog-savvy cats who don’t mind being chased. A physical fence is required so Sophia can burn off her considerable energy.

Updates

Well, Sophie’s birthday is next week and she received the best gift ever: her own fur-ever home. She found a family that has a lot of experience with dogs and separation anxiety, so they are willing to help her adjust to a new home. Her new family knows they may need to accept that some of her separation anxiety and quirks related to her separation anxiety may never go away and they are okay with that.

Sophie will have fur-siblings to keep her company when her family is gone, she now has a big backyard to run and play in, and she has already started doggie daycare in hopes to build some confidence.
