About Our Dogs
Most of our dogs come from individuals who need to surrender their dogs and from commercial breeders who retire their dogs. Some dogs landed as strays in shelters or lived on the streets of Turkey. Others have been abused or neglected and suffer from lack of socialization, training, and proper medical care. Our goal is to find these dogs loving forever homes using a process and protocol that ensure the best fit for each dog and the home that welcomes the dog.

Golden Retrievers
Golden Retrievers are known for their devotion, obedient nature, and friendly disposition. They are eager to please and enjoy learning.

Retired Breeding Dogs
Retired breeding dogs often lack socialization and fear new environments and people, but many blossom within a loving home.

International Outreach Dogs
RAGOM supports the rescue of dogs in peril beyond our country's borders, such as from the streets of Turkey and the meat trade of China.

Puppies
Puppies require considerable time and effort. But the hours devoted to training, socialization, and expending puppy energy are well spent.

Senior Dogs
If you don’t have the time or energy for the training a rambunctious puppy requires, considering adopting a sweet, low-maintenance senior.
