11/4/07: Cooper is the new girl that came to live with us yesterday.  She did great in the car on our leg of the trip from Hinckley to Duluth.  She either sat looking out the window or just laid down.  She did the same when we took her out with us today.  That is, of course, after we lifted her into the car.  I have never seen a dog do this.  She puts her front paws up into the back of the car and then just waits for us to lift her hind end in.  Oh well, why expend more energy than necessary when she knows someone will lift that big rear end in for her!

We are so fortunate to have another sweetheart to foster.  Cooper is 3 years old.  She's dark red (the pictures don't seem to show how dark she is).  We were told she loves children.  So far, so good with our two little ones.  She has also gotten along well with our resident dog.

We'll let you know more about Cooper as we continue to get to know her.  What we've seen in the short time that we've had her is that she is a very nice young lady!
