Duffy is one of the Cedar Bend Humane Society Puppies. He is UTD on shots, and has been de-wormed. He is 9 weeks old. Duffy is extremely curious - he will go and check out anything new. He also has an uncanny ability to observe as well. I often see him just plopping down on a mat and intently watching me while I cook, etc. Of course, he is very playful, and loves the nylabone and sucking on his ragom tag. I was concerned that he might miss his littermates, but he has adjusted to life without his siblings really well. He loves to cuddle, burying his small nose in as far as he can into my shoudler, the blanket, or his mat. He is doing well on the housetraining, and will always go when placed outside, and also goes in the same spot on newspaper inside the house, too.

Duffy is developing in leaps and bounds, literally. In the space of a week he can climb onto things that were too high for him previously, has decided that he loves ice cubes, and today discovered his shadow for the first time. This is a great age at which to adopt him because he is still small enough to carry around but getting old enough to learn commands, potty training and know his name. Even though he loves to play, a lot, Duffy also likes to chill out, which is why all the photos of him are in a sedentary position! He just plops down anywhere, lays his chin down and watches the world go by.
