Profile

Carli Rose came to RAGOM from a commercial breeding background. Carli Rose is a petite, healthy girl. Her background has resulted in her being very fearful of loud noises and fast movements. As a result, any children in the home must be age 10+. A confident dog is required for Carli Rose to learn from. A physical fence is required to keep Carli Rose safe. Carli Rose will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can gradually adjust to life as a house dog.

Here are several photos of our Rosie, formerly known as Carli Rose. We can’t imagine our lives without her!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers at RAGOM who helped to bring her into our lives. A special thanks to her foster family who loved her before us and made her transition into our home easier.

Rosie loves her fur sister Elsa (Great Pyrenees), long walks, snuggles, scratches, all food, and her human family. Rosie has been a rare bright spot in 2020! Happy Holidays to all!!

Carli Rose has been adopted by a wonderful couple who have had other rescue dogs in their family. She has a new sister, Elsa, who promises to be a good big sister and continue to show Carli Rose how to have fun! She has a big, beautiful fenced yard to run and play in. And, her mom is home most of the time and knows all about the patience needed for a retired commercial breeding dog.

Carli Rose has been with us for several weeks now and is starting to adjust to the Golden life. She loves being with our resident dog and follows him around constantly. She looks to him for direction on what to do next.

Carli Rose is very shy and quiet. She is comfortable just hanging out in the living room, near us but not always next to us. She likes to chew on bones and toys. We have been working with her on sitting and knowing her name. She has come a long way and responds to her name.

Sitting is a work in progress! In the yard, she is more adventurous and likes to explore, run and chew on sticks. She is also very motivated by a treat!

Carli Rose is petite, very cute, and super sweet. She has had a bad ear infection since we got her and we've done two different medications to try and clear them up. Hopefully at her next recheck it will be good news.

She will be a great pet for a quiet family who has a confident resident dog.
