Berry, now known as Winnie, has been adopted. She will enjoy several daily walks, playdates with the neighborhood dogs and being spoiled rotten by her new Mom and Dad.
Winnie was fortunate to have her dental completed prior to her adoption. She had six teeth extracted and her mouth is now healthy. Thank you for bringing this wonderful dog in to the lives of a family who recently lost their second adopted RAGOM dog. Life is complete once again with a furry family member.

Here is Berry's debut!
Little Berry arrived at our home in the wee hours of Tuesday, February 2, after a long transport from China. She was a perfect passenger in our vehicle during the last 3½ hours of her journey.
Berry has been a joy to have at our home. She is living peacefully with her 6-year-old foster brother and 4-year-old foster sister. Berry loves to play with balls and toys and is quite independent.
She loves to observe the other dogs but she is very curious about what the humans are up to most of the time. Berry will sit and just watch patiently when you are busy and she will sit outside the bathroom door and not move until you come back out. It is really quite adorable.
She has free roam most of the time. If we are out of the house for longer periods, she will go in her crate peacefully and rest. She sleeps next to the bed on the floor all night and does not make a peep.
Berry has had a handful of potty accidents but it seems it has only happened when she was very excited. She needs to be taken outside frequently to prevent little oopsies!
Berry has been on several car rides and does fantastically. Our walks have been very, very short due to the cold weather but she is not much of a puller. When she does jump up it is very gentle. She does know "sit" so we are working on not allowing inappropriate greetings.
We have not had many adventures but she did get to attend a halftime show at the neighbors and was wonderful with the teenage kids that were there. We visited a friend for a couple hours one day and she was a perfect guest. She spent the majority of the time chewing on a bone and getting pets here and there.
Foster Dad took her to visit his work for a short bit and the office staff loved her. I heard there were even some selfies taken with her!
Because Berry is gentle with no puppy play biting, we believe she can live with children of any age. And although she gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, she could also be an only dog.
As long as her forever family provides supervision and plenty of exercise opportunities, a physical fence is optional—but no invisible fences.
Tomorrow Berry will be back to visit the vet for a dental. Her back teeth have an unusual amount of tartar build up and her gums already have some recession. Berry did not want me to share this but she has very bad breath. We will get that taken care of and she will be ready to head to her new home with a fresh mouth!
If you feel Berry may be a match and are able to provide activity, heavy chewer toys, and frequent outside trips for 100% potty training success—please inquire.
Last but not least, Berry will need to cuddle with you on your furniture and maybe sleep on your bed. This little girl has been through a lot in her short life and deserves all the love in the world.
