Tama 07-634

Profile

Tama is about 4.5 years old, beautiful golden in color, with permanent black eyeliner around her beautiful brown eyes. She has been returned to RAGOM due to storm and separation anxiety (click here for her previous web page). Tama was brought into our home with foster Sunshine/Honey 08-293 and resident Missy, who all loved Tama from the first moment. No arguments over toys, food, treats, nothing; she is very much a lady. Tama loves to play with our resident in games such as keep-away or tag. They are so funny to watch in the back yard.

Tama has some separation anxiety, as she has ripped apart two stuffed animals (who will have surgery tonight), and she likes to look out the front window and knocks things over. She will greet you at the door panting and antsy. So I have learned to put a T-shirt on her and tie a knot on her backside very snugly. This has been working great, thank you Connie for the advice!

Along with working on commands such as "sit", "down", "stay", and "no kiss", Tama is doing excellent.

Tara would make any family complete, so would someone like to step up and adopt her to her forever home? Please send email to placementatragom [dot] org.

Tama is a real joy to have and she is so gentle, loving, and loves to play, she really needs a forever home. She sleeps all night, on the floor next to the bed, unless there is a storm. Tama is given the opportunity to sleep on bed, but she would rather sleep on the floor (it's cooler).

As I have said before she does have some storm anxiety and we are working with her on this. Thursday and Friday of last week were a true test of storm anxiety. Tama ended up with her t-shirt on and in the corner under the tables where my sewing machines sit, and she was just fine till the storms ended.

Tama really has nothing to report as she just loves playing with her resident sister, as the attached pictures show.
