Lost Dog Team – Awareness Lead
Team: Volunteers
Role Overview
While it does not happen often, sometimes a RAGOM foster dog or adopted dog goes missing. When this happens, it is imperative to have a team ready to help bring the dog home. RAGOM is fortunate to have The Retrievers’ advice and guidance—and they fully engage when cameras and traps are needed.
For every lost RAGOM dog, our own Lost Dog team is in charge of raising awareness and leading the search. We need an Awareness Lead to focus on creating awareness of the lost dog. You will be trained by a member of The Retrievers. Time Commitment: minimal until a dog is lost, and then it could be intensive.
Responsibilities
- Create Lost Dog flyer
- Post flyer on social media and at local businesses
- Maintain a map to include postings of sign locations, flyering, and dog sightings
- Monitor Lost Dog Facebook Message for news of lost dogs
