Levi/Moose is doing well. He has finished his medicine and his infection is gone! We have gone to two meet and greets and he has done great with the other dogs. The last one we were at, a nice family bought all the dogs a new toy! That was so nice, Moose loved his!
In between the much needed rain, we managed to get a walk in this morning! He loves his walks with his girls.

Levi/Moose checking in! I had a busy day helping Foster Mom clean up sticks in the yard.
We went for two walks today and then we went for a boat ride! When we got home we decided to rest and watch a little television.

Happy 4th of July! Foster Mom and I want to thank everyone who has made a donation to our walk page. We are doing so well with our fundraising efforts, we decided to raise our goal. We have 11 weeks left before our walk. We hope to see everyone at Goldzilla.
I want to give a very special Thank You to Helen Rosen! Puppy kisses coming your way!
Foster mom and I are raising money for RAGOM's Goldzilla. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year. All the money goes to help me and other dogs in the rescue. We do the walk for rescue on September 19th. You can check out the Goldzilla website at Goldzilla.Ragom.org.
You can come out to the Goldzilla event and meet me. If you want to help us with a donation, you can check out my walk page at:

Hi! It’s me, Moose, checking in. I had to go to the vet last week because foster mom said I was stinky. Turns out she was right, I have a UTI (urinary tract infection).
I guess that is very common in dogs like me. I need to take a pill twice a day and then get it rechecked in a few weeks. No big deal, when I take my pill I get a potato chip right after. I really like chips!

Foster Mom said I could do my own update today!
I am doing great! Foster Mom said she will be happy when I stop chewing on things I’m not supposed to. If she doesn’t want me to chew on the rugs, why does she leave them on the floor? Anything left on the floor is mine!
I had a lot of fun playing with my new friend Korey 19-257C. His wheels are bigger than mine. Foster Mom said because I have such nice sponsors, I could get a new pair of wheels! Also, I outgrew my old wheels. I guess that’s why they call me Moose!
Thank you so much to "Anonymous" for sponsoring me in memory of Chelsea!

Moose/Levi spent the week down in the city with me. It was a hot week and we did not get any walks in. We kept our outside time short and stayed in the yard.
We had a visitor on Wednesday. Korey 19-257C, RAGOM’s other wheelchair dog, came over to meet Moose. They had a good time playing in the yard!

Levi/Moose checking in! Moose is enjoying the nice weather. We get outside for two walks a day, which he loves. The other day we took him for his first pontoon ride. He was a bit nervous at first when he rolled onto the dock, but after a few minutes he relaxed and enjoyed the ride!

Levi/Moose is doing great! He's enjoying the warmer weather and all the new things growing in the yard.

After 10 days out of his wheelchair, Levi/Moose’s tummy is all healed up and he is back in his wheels! He sure did miss his daily walks. I’m not going to lie, I missed them, too. They really do help use up some of that puppy energy.
Today he was trying to figure out how to get that puppy inside the fireplace to come out and play with him (his own reflection!).

Hi everyone! Levi/Moose is doing great after his neuter surgery.
Unfortunately things did not drop down the way they usually do, so the surgeon had to go into his abdomen to find the missing parts. His surgery site is on his abdomen so we are working hard to keep that area clean and dry. Things look great and are healing nicely.
While he was getting neutered we also had his tail removed. Moose didn’t have much feeling in his tail and he was a bit obsessive with it. In his eyes it was a stick that followed him around and he chewed on it. We thought the best thing to do was remove it before Moose removed it himself.
The hardest part of having one of his surgery sites on his abdomen is he can’t get into his wheelchair to go for walks. This may be a long two weeks.
This morning he took a quick turn into the bathroom and shredded the toilet paper in record time.
He is differently a typical puppy.

Foster mom said it was ok for me to do my own write up today.
I am having fun and doing lots of new things. This week I got to play bubbles with my littles. They would blow them at me and I would chase them and eat them.
Foster mom said that on Friday I have to have surgery. They are going to take something out of me that I don’t need. She told me I will get lots of treats after surgery and will feel better soon!
I like treats so I am looking forward to when surgery is over.
I want to thank Wooster, Gracie and Lacey for sponsoring me! It is so kind of you. I’m sending you lots of puppy kisses!

Levi/Moose is living up to his name. He is growing so fast. He is all legs, long and lean.
We now have his neuter surgery schedule, that will happen at the end of the month.
We do a lot of traveling and Moose is great in the car. He rides in the crate, most of the time he spends laying down and sleeping.

Levi is doing great! He just had his last booster shot and his rabies vaccination. He is all up to date. He does have an ear infection that he is being treated for. He is still not quite ready to get his neuter surgery but I have marked him as available for adoption.
We are taking inquiries for him and looking for his forever home! If you think you are the right family to give Levi what he needs we would love to hear from you!
Levi spent the week with my one and two year old grandchildren. He and the kids were both stressed out. The kids would run and scream and Levi would chase them and bite at their clothing. I have changed the kids requirement to 5+
When caring for Levi it is not much different then caring for a toddler. A few diaper changes (3) a day and his belly band needs changing a few more times (4-5), other than that he is the same as any other puppy.
- Chews inappropriate items.
- He is in constant motion and wanting to play.
- He loves his walks, we do a few shorter ones each day.
- He eats two times a day and crates well at night to sleep.
- He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. He thinks he is a lap dog.
Levi can live with another dog but would also do well as an only dog. If there is another dog in his home it would need to be the right fit for him. He does play rough and the older dogs in my home are not very happy with that behavior.

Today way a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the warm weather.
Levi is doing great with his wheels and we go a little farther every time we go out. We live on a dirt road so a bath is always a must after a walk.
After a walk and a bath the next thing to take care of is a nap!
A tired puppy makes foster mom happy!

My number one goal was to learn how to keep this boy clean and dry. I have achieved this goal! Levi is living in the house with zero problems.
The other thing we are working on is teaching him to be a good boy. He is a young puppy and is in the chewing stage. His teeth are sharp and he wants to bite on everything including my fingers.
He sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He goes to bed at 10pm and wakes up between 7-8am. I do kennel him a few times during the day. He is very attached to me and follows me around the house most of the day.
He plays hard with the other dogs in the house. They are trying to teach him to play nice, hopefully he will catch on to that.
Sometimes Levi will get up on his back legs and stands, once he starts to move they fall to the side and drag next to him. You can see by the picture his back feet knuckle up when he stands on them.
He will be going to the vet this week for puppy shots and to see if he is ready to get neutered. We will update again soon.

Levi is doing great! He's a typical puppy, up early, plays hard, bites hard, and then crashes... When he wakes up we do it all over again.
He has been practicing on his wheels. He is very fast and nothing stops him. Here is a video of him doing the stairs.
We have many different names for him. His RAGOM name is Levi, we call him Buddy, Little Stinker, Scooter and Land Shark but most of the time we call him Moose!
We see that Moose has a sponsor in honor of Polly 17-189TD. Thank You so much Polly's family. We are very grateful for your support.
Moose sends you puppy kisses!

We wanted to give a little update on Levi!
He is doing great and we are learning how to care for him.
Today he got hooked up with some new wheels and we had to share some video and pictures. He did a great job for his first time.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will get him outside for a spin soon!
After his workout he found a nice sunny spot and took a nap.

Please join me in welcoming Levi into the RAGOM family.
He is a sweet 12 week old boy who was born with some issues that left him paralyzed. His legs are straight and do not bend.
He gets around by dragging his back legs or he lifts his back end off the ground and will carry himself around.
Levi does need some extra care. He has no control over his bodily functions. He needs to wear a belly band and a diaper. I am working with him to get the right fit so he will stay clean and dry.
I have worked with other disabled dogs and have had great success in this area.
RAGOM will be getting this boy hooked up with a wheelchair so he can run and play with the big dogs.
Levi loves kids, he also plays nice with our dogs. He could fit into almost any home situation.
We will focus on what Levi can do, not on his disability.
He will be unavailable until he gets neutered and we learn a little bit more about this boy.
Please check in and see how Levi is doing. I will update again soon.
Closed to Applications: Many families have submitted applications for Levi or he is working with an applicant for a potential adoption.
