When Hooper came to RAGOM his ears were diagnosed with a yeast infection and 2 bacterial infections. One ear was filled with black goo. It's a month later and his ears are shiny and clean. Between the daily cleaning, the ear drops and the 20 antibiotic pills per day, he's almost fully recovered from the creeping grunge. His doctor is very pleased with his progress. Good job, Doc!
Hooper got tired of waiting for me to let him back in the house a few days ago. I think he was hot and thirsty and really wanted to get in off the hot deck. He noticed a small hole in the screen door (from a very pushy visiting cat) and decided that would make a good place to create his own "doggie door." Now he can just plow right through without needing me to open the door.
Our little Roly-Poly is now down to 100 pounds. 10 down, 25 to go. He's amazingly good humored about his diet. There's no counter surfing, no eating through the food bags and he never battles over food with the others at meal time. He doesn't even chew up the woobies in the house. The woobies appreciate that, too.
Hooper gets along well with everyone. Even my old grumpy cat tolerates him, but does try avoid Big Hooper. Imagine looking up and seeing that big fuzzy back end coming down on top of you. I'm not sure I'd ever find my cat if Hooper sat on him!
Hooper's only got a little more than 2 weeks left on his heartworm quarantine. Then this fuzzy little baby buffalo will be available to some great family. Now's the time to put in your application and get your home visit scheduled, so you're ready to go when Hooper's available.
