Happy New Year!
Meet this beautiful new retriever/lab girl, Iris!  The sweet, energetic pup came to us today (New Years Eve) from northern Minnesota as part of an unwanted litter of pups.  One parent was a golden the other was a golden lab - she sure looks all Golden to me!  She must have been well loved and taken care of before she was surrendered to the shelter up north because she is well socialized with humans, kids and other dogs!  This 8-week beauty already goes up stairs and loves to romp around in the snow!  She is playful, lovable, snuggly and sweet - would make a great companion for a family in 2008!  She has already had her first set of shots, but we will bring her into the vet this week to confirm that she is healthy and well!
